Austin’s excellent food and outstanding service guarantee you a memorable occasion. (The menus shown here represent dishes most requested by our catering clients. Please inquire about customizing a menu for your particular needs; the only limitation is your imagination.) Austin’s can also provide and coordinate a full range of additional services such as party decor, floral arrangements and entertainment. Austin’s caters events for as many as 2,500 people, anywhere within an hour’s driving distance from Mountain View. We are fully insured ($1 Million) and licensed to serve beer, wine and liquor at your site.

Licensing and Insurance

The ultimate success of your event starts with basic fundamentals. What may separate Austin’s from the competition is that we adhere to all Federal, State, and Local Laws governing this industry. Austin’s is fully insured to the limit of $1,000,000 per liability occurrence, and in addition provides Workers’ Compensation for each employee. Austin’s is licensed by the Santa Clara County Department of Environmental Health. [Permit # PT 0431036] Austin’s is required to collect sales tax per State Board of Equalization. If the products are intended for resale, a resale card must be filled out in advance. [Sellers Permit # SRGH 97025955] We at Austin’s believe that the client, ultimately, is looking for this type of assurance, before your ink pen meets the contract. After all, isn’t this the reason you choose a caterer? We advise, whether you book your event with us or someone else, that you ask for these types of assurances.

General conditions

Food pricing will be determined by guest count as given to Austin’s 48 hours in advance of your event.

On-site cooking requires a minimum of two people for safety reasons. The base labor charge is $350 (more for larger parties, or when furniture/equipment must be placed and removed). Rented linen, furniture, equipment, entertainers, etc. are billed in addition to this cook/server fee. Please refer to Entertainment & Services page.

Drop-off orders are packaged buffet style (in large foil pans) and include paper plates and plastic serving and eating utensils, as well as assistance in setting up the goods on your tables. The drop-off fee is typically $75 (may vary with travel distance and the size of your party).

Austin’s catering staff is paid a simple hourly wage and welcomes an additional gratuity if you feel you received excellent service.
